Vaccinate or Not?
I am currently expecting baby number two in November of this year. My first child is now 12 years old and he has Autism. I do not know exactly what caused his Autism, but I do know that after he got his toddler vaccinations at or around age two, he stopped talking about two weeks after that.
I am really afraid that if I vaccinate, my second child will be at risk for getting Autism.
Some people may say that vaccinations do not cause it, but we all are entitled to our own opinion.
I have a neighbor that said that her 7 year old child almost died in the hospital from her vaccinations and she currently does not vaccinate her newborn.
In my opinion, just like now, there is a recall on Kroger brand ground turkey meat and also a recall on ground beef. We as people trust to feed our families with products handled by other people everyday. Just like those products can become tainted, who's to say that there are not bad batches of vaccinations out there?
I want to know if it is safe to not vaccinate my newborn?
Because he is going to be breastfed until the age of two, doesn't that make his immune system stronger than formula fed babies?
Please help me with this decision. Your feed back is greatly appreciated.
Please subscribe to my blog and share it with friends.
Thanks,
Ellicia

More Like Smart Ass!
This morning I got up at about 4:10 am, and I saw that my son was already up with the television on. Well, he knows that in our house, there is no television until 6:30am, or if I have to work that morning, I watch the news until I leave for work. I have to be up for work by 4:30am, but since I was awake, I thought I would just get up. So, I went into the living room and turned on the light. When my son saw that I was awake, he hurried and turned his television off, got back in bed, and hid his Nintendo DSI under the covers. LOL! As if I did not hear him walking! It’s like an elephant trying to tip toe. When I walked into his room and turned on the light, he had his eyes squinted shut, trying to play like he was asleep. WOW! So, I made him get up, brush his teeth and clean his room. Now who’s the sneaky one!

Do not play with me, you understand!
Many people have this crazy thought that children with Autism do not understand. That is somewhat true. But I have firsthand experience that they understand a little more than they want you to know.
For example: Last night I picked my son up from the sitter's house and she told me that my son had been acting up and hitting himself in the chin. As a result of that, she told him to stop and made him lie down to take a nap. For a while he lashed out by stomping his feet and he continued to hit himself. Not long after, he heard a knock on the door. He thought it was me coming to pick him up, so he sat down on the couch quietly. After the sitter opened the door and he saw that it was not me, he got up and started acting out again.
Note: Children that have Autism have great memories and situation association. My son knows that I always knock on the door before coming into the sitter's house. He also knows that the sitter will not spank him. So he figures, until I hear that knock, I am free to do what I want (loosely speaking).

Should you spank them?
I mean seriously, should you spank them?
If you are a person that said no, what is wrong with you?
You mean to tell me that because your child has Autism, that gives them a right to act out?
Uuuuuuhhhhhh nooooo!
I cannot speak for anyone else's child, but my son is bigger and taller than I am, with a temper problem. He likes to kick things and he screams. But mommy and daddy hold it down. Some people say, "Oh don't spank him, he doesn't understand." Like Bernie Mack used to say, "That's some bull". My son is very smart and like how my mom raised me, where ever you acted an ass at, you got spanked right there. My son purposely acts out in public, because usually when he is with his grand parents or aunts, he screams or acts an ass in a store, and they buy him what he wants.
I don't think so!
Mommy and daddy are professional ass spankers. Lol
